I HAVE A HAIR CUT BOOKED FOR TOMORROW AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. MY HAIR IS ALL ONE LENGTH - DOWN TO MY MID BACK, AND VERY FINE. I HAVE NO BANGS RIGHT NOW, AND AM NOT SURE IF THAT LOOK IS FOR ME. AT THE SAME TIME, IT TOOK SO LONG TO GROW OUT, THAT I'M NOT SURE I WANT TO GO BACK TO THEM. AS I MENTIONED, MY HAIR IS VERY FINE, BUT I HAVE LOTS OF IT. IT DOES NOT CURL WELL AT ALL, SO I HAVE TO GET A GOOD CUT SO THAT IT'S EASY TO STYLE. ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME, BUT I NEED THEM FAST! THANKS!

You may want to ask the stylist for style suggestions with the length that you have now. Ask him or her to show you several ways of styling it, and find out how it's done so you can replicate the look at home.Good luck!Dave
Robin,You didn't say whether you /like/ your hair the way it is now. What shape is your face? Is your hair very healthy?Growing your hair out takes a long time. I'd suggest really trying to work with it before you cut it off.Ally

Hi Robin,I know this is too late.. but wanted to give my suggestion anyway.I've just decided to grow out my hair to about mid back all one length. My bangs are an inch below my chin. Anyway, I was reading up on bangs on the internet and I read that when you have bangs, your scalp begins to bring more nutrients to the bangs than the rest of the hair because it's trying to balance all the lengths. So then the rest of your hair isn't getting as much nutrients as it used to... it may thin out somewhat or become a bit dryer. I have fine hair also so I'm letting my bangs catch up with the rest of my hair in hopes that my hair will all get equal amounts of nutrients. It sounds like you were getting tired of the look you currently have? I like the suggestion that you look for different hairstyles, new ways to put your hair up. Buy a book of fancy braids or something like that. Make it a fun thing.BTW - What did you decide to do?
