I'm going to go for a new look next week. I'm going to a new hairdresser and I can't decide on a style. I have good features and an oval face. My hair is brown, wavy and thick. I'm bored with my hair which is past my shoulders and blunt. RIght now I'm deciding bewteen: a layered cut with or maybe without bangs that is shoulder length, or a chin length cut with layers, or something really short with shorter layers. Please give me some advice. BTW, is chin-length measured by the point of the chin or the side of the jaw?

I'm no professional but I think that the chin length cut with layers would look nice. The layers would help aleviate some of the thickness and also make it easier to blow straight if you choose.
