QuoteReplyTopic: want to switch to styling products that have no "cones"...any suggestions? Posted: January 12 2000 at 7:04am
I alternate with a leave in conditioner, a heat protectant spray and a smoothing gel, all of whitch contain cones.I am thinking they may be the reason my hair is dry. If anyone can suggest these types of products with no cones I would be very grateful! Thanks, Lisa
Hi Lisa,Aubrey Organics makes styling aids that don't contain any "cones". I use the Calaguala Fern Thickener which doesn't really add volume, but it does add control, protection, and shine. Another good product of theirs is the Mandarin Hair Jelly with Ginkgo and Ginseng. They also have color gels (for blond and for dark hair) which I haven't tried. They are comming up with a leave-in conditioner which comes out in March, I believe. These products don't build up on your hair; they wash out completely every time you shampoo. I would suggest that you try these (you can get them in small sample bottles if you like). Good luck and happy new year,PD> I alternate with a leave in conditioner, a heat> protectant spray and a smoothing gel, all of whitch> contain cones.I am thinking they may be the reason my> hair is dry.
