I recently colored my hair with natural instincts, about a week ago, and I was wondering if I did a hot oil treatment would it take the color out or change the color in any way?

I have highlights now, but in the past colored my hair with natural instincts- among others.. I did hot oil/deep conditioning treatments once a week and my hair did fine. MOF, my stylist couldn't believe how soft my hair was considering how much I abused it in the 80s!
