I did my first perm ever, asking for Mary Kate Olsen

instead got Michael Bolton

I've been crying all night, and its time to do something about it >_<

What can I do to fix this mess? It was so long and straight and now its short and curly :-(

Can I chemically straighten it yet?

I've looked through the threads on maintaining curls, but I don't think I can handle curly hair ever again :-(

TIA

well my dear,
if you chemically straigten your hair now, you will have the risk of it breaking up and drying up. Try straightning balm or just simply tie you hair into a bun or ponytail or whatever.
when you have lemons make lemonade out of them.

maybe you could try using heavy conditioners and leave ins to make it lay down straighter? or you could try waiting a few months for it to fade out of your hair and hang longer instead of wavy/frizzy.
be careful... life is bitter sweet. we are living in a world of hate
