i was just wondering do you buy relaxers or do you go to a salon and they do it?... also how long should my hair be to get it done? Im a male and my hair is typical length, kind of short. also if these relaxers make curly hair like african american hair straight then will it make my asian hair go down? i have typical asian hair it spikes up and is coarse. i try to bend it so it spikes backwards but instead the whole hear just jets backwards. i want to make it less corse so i can do more styling with it. my hair doesnt want to go down because it its so strait and it jets out and wont bend to go down. will these relaxers make my hair softer so it will not be so strait and will make it bend and go down easier? also will this make my side hair stick to my forhead and not spike out?

Well I actually prefer buying them than going to a salon, because depends on where you are on the earth, most of the stylist will give you that weird look because you wanted to straighten your straight hair. Relaxing is straight hair is so easy. If you managed to get a very good kind (just search the hairboutique catalogue for it) you can achieved great results.
Relaxing hair will make your hair softer and less coarse by softning the hairshaft. You need to have at least 3 inches of hair to make this happen. If you apply it on short hair, it wont really work. It will make your hair stay flat on your forehead, and it will stick out less.
Just remember to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to care for your hair.

if you read about relaxers and their properties plus you studied the manual, it should not be hard. but it takes practice to achieved great results.

what is a good brand to get and what type do i need? i want my hair to have my texture and body and also easier to shape. like not always being so stiff and easy to curl down or just wave it or alteast stick to my head.
i have typical frustrating asian hair and i want my hair to be like this

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SQAjA4AW9EN2qubzI4FhZQbGXKRbL0ezigYAbyAJ69TOJoZTYhVoMfBbglA0kitHF5suJXoZ4RudkfZwNqwGfLASrcaKWcEAlP6an6lYnQ3t1baKueiSVA/5.jpg?dc=4675494884446111580

so what type of products and relaxers do i need and what type of hair cut. do i get it layerd. because my hair now is long not as long as that guy but still long and looks jet black and so plain. everythign is one layer and you cant even see the strands it looks like a complete piece with not divisons and texture. and do i cut my side hair and let my top hair grow long to my ears. because my side hair is typical asian and bushed out that my top hair rest on it and doesnt stick to my head looks weird. even when my side hair is long my top hair looks fluffy and not close to my head, it doenst completly stick to my head but doesnt bush out when short. But my this still looks ulgy because you see my top hair over it and its fluffy and ownt completly stay down and u see side hair at the tips of my top hair bushing out alittle., and near my ears you see this ugly side hair kind of down but still sticking sideways just alittle. so do i get like a mushroom or something.

hmmm i think one of the best relaxers out their is phyto relaxers or something. hairboutiques sells them. its a very good relaxers that does not damaged your hair too much, or you can find salon brand relaxers at sally's or other haircare store.

HI! may i ask question? do you think using relaxers could be bad for the hair? if i relax my hair would my hair be permanent "flat" and soft after doing that? is it hard to do it alone?

if i have like a thick but straight hair do you think the changes would be noticeable?

thanks for reading my post

relaxers are bad because they alter the structure and dry out the hair, relaxers are good because it soften hair and helps us texturize it for even wider choice of styling options.
the results should be permanent but you may need a second treatment coz asian hair is very stubborn and stiff.
people will notice that your hair is no longer sticking up and its flat.
