i have resistant gray hair.i have been coloring my hair myself ,but would now like advice on getting a pro to do it,so my long hair looks natural and all one color ,pleez help. i don't go to a hair stylist now and don't want to get my hair cut right now .how would a good pro go about fixing my problem of having different shades of hair from roots to ends ?

Hi, Professional Haircolor has changed alot in the last 10 years. It is alot more gentle and really cover grey hair very well.
I don't think you will have any trouble finding a stylist that can do a beautiful job at coloring your grey hair.
One thing to keep in mind, you will need to protect your investment. Ask your stylist for their professional reccomendation on at home products (such as shampoos). This is VERY important because store bought shampoos can pull that color right back out of your hair.
