Hello everyone, newbie here. I have a question about permanent haircolor. I am currently using a permanent drugstore color that matches my hairpiece I where occationally. I want to keep my hair healthy and the same color. Can I use the permanent color bottle and a color activator, such as "Aurelle" (sp?) together? I really don't want to do my roots if I don't have to. Also, when I used this color full strength, 20% peroxide, my roots came out a little lighter than the ends. So, I want to know is what the difference is in say, the color bottle ingredients in "Natural Instincts" as opposed to permanent haircolor bottles.
I guess basically, I am asking if it is ok to use drugstore permanent haircolor and my choice of developer?
