Hello ...New on the board!! GREAT SITE!!!
Maliburum, saw your post and had to reply ~

I do have this blending board. I ordered this years ago with the
whole hotbox kit. I ended up throwing everything out but the
blending board. When I first got the board out of the box I
chuckled and said what a piece of crap this is!!HaHa….
probably cost $2 to make. I have been making my custom color
blens with this board.

You can place the board at the end of a counter top. It has a
hook at each side that you open up. You secure your first
colored weft on the board. You then place your second colored
weft directly on top of your first weft again making sure it is
secured. If you want another color.....go for it. When you have
placed the colors you want to blend there is a comb that is
placed across the wefts to hold them closely together. You
swing the hooks around on each side of the board to lock in the
comb ends holding all the wefts from taking off. You start
brushing the hair together and you can spray the wefts down
lightly with water to make it easier to work with the hair. I have
done it dry and wet.....either way...It's up to you. You start at one
end and grab a small section at the top of the weft and start
making a braid. You are now braid all your colors together. You
only need to go down about 3" then take an elastic band and
tie it around the top end of the braid. When it's secure cut the
hair off the weft at the top of the braid (as close to the top of the
weft..you don't want to loose any length). Brush the hair, blend,
then unravel the braid and brush again. You now have your
custom blend.

Well I hope this helps!! Happy Blending!!

I have no idea, unfortunately. The only tools I've seen for blending are hackles, (and to a lesser extent, drawing mats and drawing cards--although I believe those are better for managing bulk hair). Perhaps you should post on Quinnster's; maybe someone there knows how it works?

Good luck! :)

Yes Jenny, Outlet hair is the same as SuperHairFactory.com.

You wouldn't happen to know how it works would ya?

OK. I see the "Blending System" on SexyHairForYou.com; it looks quite different than a hackle. :)

I'm not sure how it works I was hoping it came with instructions

I was thinking it's just a way to secure the hair while mixing different textures

Thanks Syren! that would save me alot of money. I noticed that things on that site were really pricey but when I saw the board I figured since I didn't see it anywhere else that was it. Let me know if you decide to get one. I think I am going to order one this weekend.

Thanks again!

Here's the exact blending board with the exact written description for $40:
http://www.outlethair.com/Extension/hairblending.htm
Looks like sexyhair4you or whatever not only needs punctuation help (apostrophies on plurals? grrrr....), she needs to write her own script- especially if she's doubling the price!
I want one of those, btw. There's just no way to blend hair by hand without making a godawful mess and losing half the hair in the process.

Sorry, never heard of it. Looks like they don't have too much to offer in hair though. Ebony Online has more and I believe the prices are lower also.

Hi guys!

I was wondering if someone could help me with this one. I was "hair shopping" and I came across this blending board. I am really interested in how it works (step by step details). I tried different textures but it's really neither one or the other and I want to try to mix my own. If any one has more info (like if I should just save my $) I would appreciate the help. Thanks

this is the website I found it on
