I want to order some plastic hair from the site, but I need a little help from you guys:
For shipping, the only choice it gave me was 'swiss post'. They don't do UPS or any other method? This may be a dumb question, but I never ordered from an International company before, so will 'Swiss Post' deliver to the USA?
For payment method:
Does their Paypal method work the same as when using Paypal with a US company? I think the choice read, 'paypal IPN' or something like that. What does the IPN stand for?
If I choose 'Invoice' how does that work?
Also, the final total, including the shipping cost was given in Swiss Francs, and I didn't see the curency converter to convert it to US dollars, so how do I know what my final amount will be?
The 'change currency' thingy is on the right hand side, at the bottom of the menu as you're browsing the site. Maybe your options will change at checkout after changing that? I haven't ordered anything there (yet!! ) so I'm not positive.

IIRC after you make the order, and put in your addy, then it switches to english/american dollars :) But yeah, I just kinda guessed/interpreted the whole way through lol
Both times that I've ordered, I've had to make sure that I was already signed into paypal, before I finalized my order, to avoid all the mumbo jumbo :) :)
That's a great currency converter that you can use to figure out what the prices are. Swiss Francs' abbreviation is CHF, by the way.
And no, Plastikhaar doesn't use UPS- I don't even know if UPS has an office in Zurich, or if they just deliver. Besides which, UPS is stupidly expensive anyway- it costs $20ish to send small packages to the UK, much less Europe. I've only ever had one problem with the Swiss Post package delivery (way back in June, admittedly), but like it says on the website, she replaced the lost items for free.
The Paypal thing works like any other company- you do your shopping-cart thing on the site, the site totals it up for you, and then forwards you to the paypal site with a total. You log into Paypal, send money, and that's it. Don't be put off by the international thing- the majority of Sara's hair-sales customers are British and American, so the ordering system is pretty much set up to accomodate international sales.
I ordered one bundle of the mahaghoni and weintraube (purple) in the 50mm curl. I'll 'test drive' some highlights, and if all goes well, maybe I'll do a whole head.
How long does it usually take to receive your order? I am in California.
oops!, I got economy shipping. I had no idea it would take 2-3 weeks. That's ok, I don't need it right away, but you know how it is when you order hair, you just want it now!
