Hi all. Well, the PH hair showed up before any of my other orders -- still waiting on WaWa/MoMo and my shrinkies. WARNING this is my first time posting pics and for some reason they are HUGE!!!
I got a bunch of different colors. I am doing an experiment on what it does after washing. The color below is "Hafer" and is completely useless to me so it's the one I'm experimenting on:
Here it is before a wash:
Here it is after a wash in HOT water, rinse with fabric softener, and dried on warm with a regular blow dryer:
Here are a bunch of the other colors, just FYI. From left to right they are "Birke", "Satinblond", "Blond", "Platinblond", and "Winterblond".
I put human hair color rings next to them so you could see how they "matched". There is no match in any of my rings for the "Satinblond". It's a really cool color, just a bit yellow.
Enjoy!

Thats what I got too. Those colors look really pretty! Are you gonna do a blend? I got the hafer too and its a strange color isnt it? I wish I had gotten the 'blond' color that you have in the picture, that one would have been a good blending color for me!
Great pics, Fina! Thanks! They look gorgeous lined up together like that. I'm sure the blend will be beautiful.
It's weird because your platinum and satin look like different colors; it's a subtle difference, but it's definitely a difference. Mine, side by side, were exactly the same color though.
I can't wait to see your pics once it's insalled. :)
Yeah, I still don't know either. Maybe that batch was "off" or something, but Sherrie and Kalika had the same experience. Anyway, I'm glad to see that they're different in your pics. :)
Acutally, Fina, is it just me, or are the wave patterns slightly different? It looks like the darker one is a tighter curl, but maybe it just looks that way in the photo or the others have been brushed or something. :)
I haven't brushed any of them. The reason the dark one looks that way is because it's still "Tied" at the other end. I didn't untie it cuz I got lazy. . .
The lighter blondes are definitely shinier, probably because of simple physics/optics. I'm going to wash ALL of this hair before I get it put in. I'll post pics again!
I got the platinblond and vanille and I cannot distinguish a difference between the two. I got 2 vanille and 1 platinblond, none of my bags were marked so I have really tried hard to find a difference in one of the bundles to determine which one is the platinblonde! I cannot tell!
I also got the champagne blonde that is very 'peachy' looking and I got naturblond that is lighter than hafer but also very 'ashy' looking.
hey fina! i just found this old link, too, for plastikhaar colors and not really sure where to post this.. www.deadjournal.com/users/plastikhaar/
under the link are little jpegs that are much easier for me to see and are a much truer match to the colors i have gotten from sara...obviously now she has more colors on the new site, but the little color chips are easier on my eyes... cheryl

Ok I've been eyeing everyones Plastikhaar enviously for a week now- I am a brunette (med dark) and I can't tell from the posted pics how well the products match the color chart. I really apprecite the color chart posted above.
After years of synthetic clip-ons - my experience has shown that synth in general is more ashy- less warm than human. I have mildly ashy natural hair and I always have to mix in some auburn synth to "warm up" the final product for a better match. Sometimes even the more auburn colors aren't warm enough in bright light for a clip on pony or fall to look natural.
How does the above posted color chart compare to the real stuff? I notice that on this chart that the color HAFER is pretty ashy looking. Is it close to what you've got in front of you? Also did the texture change at all with that first was and fabric softener rinse- did it stay soft? It seem slike it held the curl well. I am encouraged.
Thanks for your input.

Absolutely frickin' gorgeous! Fina, how are you going to do it....blend some together, add others randomly throughout, something like that? Are you going to be primarily light light blond? Or what? That is a great range of colors and should look a-f***ing-mazing.
Saucyblossom, the thing that amazed me about the PH hair from the color ring I got is how lovely the hair colors are! Not ashy or fakey-dull. They're vibrant and beautiful.
