Hey all...I ordered my Plastikhaar today! Yay!! Only thing is, when I got to the page where you choose ordering method I didn't want to use paypal and chose 'invoice'. I hit 'continue' and it said that my order had been processed.
Sorry for the stupid question but what does that mean?? Will I receive a bill along with the hair when it arrives?? I've never bought anything from overseas and am not sure how this all works with the exchanging currency thing.
Hmm...I don't know. I've chosen the invoice option and paid in cash, actually. I do know that a U.S. money order will not work because they charge a ridiculous fee to cash/deposit U.S. money orders in Switzerland; there may be a Swiss M.O. you can get in the U.S., but I need to look into it.
How were you planning to pay, by credit card or some other payment form?
Saskia, I just did virtually the same thing, because I'm such a norbert.... I cancelled my paypal acct. Having signed up for ebay drunk (ahem). I promptly forgot my password and flubbed the process to have them tell me so I never could get to bid on ebay ... and here's the super stupid part... I thought you could only use paypal on ebay. Anyway, I just ordered hairrings from plastikhaar, punched invoice, and she sent an e-mail, asking me please please please to use paypal. So, I got my husband to pay for it. Does being married make you stupid or is it that stupid people get married?? hmm. If you can, I'd say go ahead and set up paypal. It will make all of your internet hair purchases easier.

I think in the future, I'll pay for the stuff either through a Paypal account I set up or a friend's account. I've used a lot of money orders for U.S. stuff, but finding an alternate payment method internationally is a real hassle.
I just did the same thing too while ordering my color rings. I choose invoice...she replied back, but never mentioned she prefers paypal. I use paypal...but never got verified. Ok...i think i have that part figured out but when i went to use the paypal i had some issues with my account. Now that it's straightened out how in the F@#k do I find the address of where I need to send payment. I hear the plastikhaar is great but I CANNOT seem to find any of the information i need on that freaking webpage!!!!!!!!!!
The link still doesn't work, hun. :) Anyway, the email for Sara is sara@plastikhaar.ch. I probably have the address around here too somewhere, but you should probably email her first and ask which form of payment would be best.
