Hi

Aloe Vera: Antiseptic

Avocado: Antibacterial. Apply as a paste. Leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with tepid water.

Bran Pack: Mix bran, baking soda and water to a paste consistency. Apply to face, leaving it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with a mixture of one part apple cider vinegar to 8 parts water.

Burdock: Helps with inflammation and skin eruptions

Calendula: Make a strong infusion of calendula. Use it as a facial wash two to three times daily.

Clay - Bentonite or Green: Will absorb the lymphatic fluid that has collected under the skin and helps reduce swelling. ** Mix one teaspoon with a little water for paste consistency. Apply to skin, leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. ** Or - Blend together one teaspoon each of green clay powder and raw honey, apply the mixture to face, avoiding the eye areas. Leave on for fifteen minutes, rinse with warm water.

Echinacia: Antibiotic, astringent, antiseptic

Tea Tree Oil: Derived from the pressed leaves of the Australian melaleuca tree. Used as a topical antifungal, antibacterial, antiseptic. The active ingredient of the oil is a compound called terpinen-4-ol, which kills many types of bacteria. Gentle to skin, speeds healing of blemishes. ** Apply a drop of teas tree oil using a cotton swab to the lesions twice a day after cleansing.

Honey: A gently cleanser and skin conditioner, kills germs, draws blemishes to the surface, tightens. ** Heat honey slightly and then spread over the face. Tap the face gently. This produces a pulling power, which draws the blood to the surface and helps to purify the skin surface. Wash gently with warm water, then rinse with cool water.

Horseradish: Use as a tincture to apply to blemish to draw out infection

Lavender (essential oil): Antiseptic, anti/inflammatory, stimulates new cell growth.

Lemon Juice: Antibacterial, astringent. Go easy with applying lemon juice to dry skin as it has a slight drying effect. ** 1/4 C. lemon juice and 1and 3/4 c. water. Use only one time daily on pimples. ** Or - Rub blemish with lemon rind or use a cotton-tipped swab to apply a little lemon juice to blemish.

Peppermint: Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, aids in control of bacteria.

Potato: Helps to heal skin disorders. ** Put potato half over skin for blackheads and other ailments.

Sage: Astringent, anti-inflammatory

Witch Hazel: Bark and leaves are styptic, cleansing and astringent

Try:
Oat & Honey mask

Need:
OATS
HONEY
WARM WATER

*Process some oats in a blender along with a little honey and little warm water, then stir into a paste, apply over face untill dry or almost dry, then GENTLY wipe off with a warm cloth.

(DO THIS 2 TIMES A WEEK)-This mask is a little messy but it's defintley worth trying it!.

A whipped egg white is good. You just beat one up until its white and stiff-ish then whack it of your face and leave it to dry, then you wash it off.It cleans the skin.

Pimples are small skin lesions or inflammations of the skin. They are usually due to obstruction or infected pores. Pimples usually develop when the points blacks are infected or whiteheads. When acne breakouts occur frequently, it is considered acne. There are many causes of acne, like bacterial folliculitis, keratosis pilatis and conditions of the skin.

Really nice and useful post. Condiments such as vinegar and salt have their uses as home remedies for acne. Mix the two together, before rubbing the mix over the pimples. Leave it on face for 10-20 minutes before removing with warm water.

thanks for the citing some ways in treating acne.

However, if an acne treatment works on one, it may or may not work on the others due to the needs of the skin or the severity of the acne. In order not to worsen or harm the skin, use products which is made of natural sources.

Wash your face at least twice a day. Wash more frequently in the summer to prevent oil accumulated to obtain and keep your face clean. Remember that first splash of warm water with soap in order to open the pores of the skin through deep penetration of the skin with soap. People with oily skin should use water-based soap. Do not use body soap for the face, because it can clog pores and cause pimples. The soap should be rinsed with cold water so that the pores are closed.
