I don’t have that much acne except for my forehead, which has little dots almost all over it(hard to notice but irritating), and I get them sometimes around the mouth area. I started using Neutrogena Skin Clearing "Targeted Acne Treatment" and I was just wondering does it help out or is there some other, better way to make them go away.

Drink lots of water and milk and also take vitamin E pills. Those things are very good for your skin. Or you could use retin-A or Amnesteem.
