Will someone be kind enough to explain 'warm' and 'cool' skin tones to me? I would like to semi-perm my hair to a dark copper, but I've had multiple hairdressers say that it wouldn't look good - they say I should lean towards blonde because I have more gold in my skin tone. What the heck does that mean? I'm not about to flaunt their good advice and do it myself at home, but I'd love to know. (I'm black, with a milk chocolate complexion and very dark brown eyes, if that helps.)
