I think Miss Kitty from the WWF should go short? What are your folks thoughts?

Well, this folk thinks that this post is rather, well, I don't want to say stupid, so I'll say pointless. I doubt that there are any serious posters on this board who care who or what Miss Kitty is, and what she should do with her hair!

Please go post your thoughts on alt.wrestling or wherever it is that you guys post. This is a serious board.

Did you see Miss Kitty with her Chyna-like wig? Looked great.

Hey superfly, lighten up! I agree with "The King" I think Miss Kitty should go with an ultra short pixie. That would look great on her.

Believe it or not son, Miss Kitty although a WWF escort is a person in due with respect just as much--if not more than the celebrities people brag about in here. I believe King was serious. Miss Kitty is sexy, no doubt, and because she is sooo short in height long hair takes away from her features. Therefore, Miss Kitty would look even more sexy with a short pixie like do. And dat's the bottom line because Stonecold said so!

Hi,

Knowing that some of us are Christians that visit here I'd just like to please ask that the Bible verse John 3:16 would not be turned into a remark like shown in the "Austin" subject title. Refraining from that would really be appreciated. Not that this is my board and I'm telling you what you can and can't say. It would just be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

Holly

Just a quick note here, since I'm gonna address some of this a bit more in another standalone post...

1) Haven't seen Miss Kitty, but I would guess that if she did need or want to cut her hair, there may be one or two other possible styles that would work other than a pixie. Just a guess.

2) The "Austin 3:16" thing is part of Steve Austin's schtick. My guess is that due to it's constant appearance on TV at sporting events that the phrase "John 3:16" (not the actual biblical verse, but the phrase) has become a part of popular culture, and thus was modified and adopted. I don't think it intends to belittle the Bible verse, however, that doesn't help "Austin 3:16" make any more sense. Heck, what's it even supposed to mean?

Ok, now go read my "Opinion vs. Fetish" post...

Hmm. I thought this forum was for talking about celebrity hair, not wrestling or religion. (Yes, I am a Christian. Yay for speaking up politely, Holly.) I enjoy discussing the celebrity hair trends. I enjoy getting Jerky Flea's and other posters' opinions on what looks might or might not work for a certain entertainer, how they might change for a role, etc.

When things get angry and/or off-topic, it's not fun anymore. Don't we have enough arguing in life already?

Thanks, Kestra.

I had hoped I wasn't appearing like I was trying to change the topic, and I certainly don't want to argue. Like with any offending statement and/or behavoir, such as profanity, others have nicely-and sometimes even strongly- asked to refrain. So, I felt I was not out of line to just ask once. Also, think if this would have been a racist remark. I've even seen people over on Hair Talk get upset when any mention of race came into the topic. I honestly don't want to keep this topic going, I just felt I ought to explain that I wasn't trying to change the topic or argue.
If there are any other postings about this, however, it's probably better to just write me privately or post at "Announcements" than to keep the topic going here at the "Celebrity" board.

Just in case you thought this Paul, by leaving the subject title "Go somewhere else", I didn't mean that you or whoever made the statement was being told by me to go somewhere else. I had just not thought to name the title by another subject.

Thanks,
Holly

I didn't think Holly was trying to change the topic or argue. Stopping unpleasantness in any form needs to be done as soon as possible. Then we can stay with the business of discussing what we're here for.

Wishing all good hair days,

kestra
