My wife showed me an article about Ashley in this months Glamour. In the article, she states that her hair has never been short enough; that she plans to cut it into a pixie just as soon as she`s through shooting her current movie, Blackout. Again, can`t find the article in print but can`t wait for the movie to be in the can.
I saw the article yesterday and she talks very frankly about how she worries about her hair but doesn`t like it falling in her face. It sounds like she really likes short hair and her husband doesn`t mind if she cuts it shorter. She seems very independent and I actually think she`ll do it not like Nichole Kidman who said the same thing about"cutting it all off" and never did. Your right if she doesn`t think her hair has been short enough I can only imagine how short she`ll go. The only question is when does filming wrap on "Blackout." I`m looking forward to this haircut she really has the physical features and personality to pull off really short hair.

She sure does have the features & personality to pull off short hair!! I also like the way she does her own thing regarding her style. Like when everyone else seems to be growing their hair long, she`ll cut hers off!! Or when people start cutting their hair like her`s (real short) then she`ll show up with long hair!! Whatever she does, I`ll bet it will look great!

I`m getting goosebumps too!! I like how ashley changes her hair all the time also. But unlike most people she goes long to short. Some people change colors and hairstyles slightly, she`ll just chop off her hair and act like its no big deal. I wonder if she`ll have short hair when she plays Catwoman in an upcoming movie. I bet she would look great with a Mia Farrow-like crop like in "Rosemary`s Baby."

Yes! I got a chance to see the "fine print" of that article and it rocks! I thought the cut she had in "High Crimes" and "Someone Like You" were hot, I can`t wait to see a cut she would consider "short enough". Should be awesome!

I swear a couple years before"High Crimes" and "Someone Like You" her hair was a couple inches shorter. Probably around the time she was less well known like after "A Time To Kill.", So I guess she means even shorter than that. Ashley might show up to the premiere of "Blackout" or the set of "Catwoman with a buzzcut. LOL

When Ashley Judd goes really short like she says, What kind of cut would the participants on this board like to see?? How short? (choppy cut, buzzed, crew style????)
As short as possible, as long as it still looks good on her. I think she could pull off a really short crop that would be about 1 inch long on top and all messy, and even shorter than that at the back and sides. I`m thinking Anne Heche or Charlize Theron short. In my opinion a buzzed-all-over style would not look good.

I agree that she would look good in most any style. I agree:Charlize Theron short or maybe Mia Farrow in "Rosemary`s Baby" short. I was just messing around with the buzzcut idea, its just that she says she wants to go "shorter" and she said she hasn`t gone "short enough" but she has worn some pretty damn short hair, how short would she dare to go? I like the choppy oneinch idea with hair shorter in the back and on the sides. I think its going to look great when it happens. THANKS.
I think she has already had what could be described as a "pixie" cut before. But she has stated she wants to go shorter still. How short, is anybody`s guess. I agree "pixie" is very ambiguous hair term. Could be as short as a half inch or as long as a couple or several inches depending on your definition.
