Checking on Katie and Anne Curry is part of my morning ritual (hehehe). It's kind of neat the way Anne's hair was shorter than Katie's and how it's now longer. But I digress...
I tuned in about midway through today's Today Show and noticed the change in Katie's hair. The overall length looks about the same, but some parts of it looked layered. She was struggling at times to keep the somewhat shorter strands of hair on her right side out of her eyes.
She did look nice, though, even though I couldn't tell for sure if her hair looked suddenly uneven because she had it cut that way or because she had been outside with a hat on, as they force her to do every day, it seems.
Her hair also looked like it was a shade or two darker, but that could have been the lighting. I usually give Katie the benefit of two days in a row, just so I can tell for sure.
I think Katie's bangs are a HUGE improvement. Much softer and younger looking, and now the whole style frames her face really nicely. Looks like she's also added some layers and darkened the whole thing a bit. I'm really glad she's moved away from that severe, one-length blonde look - thought it made her look much older.
So a big thumbs up from me. My only complaint is that she already seems to be sweeping the bangs to the side, making them disappear, as if they're annoying her. I'd rather see her play them up, cut them a bit shorter so they fall straighter down. Either way, though, it's about time... :-)
