Can anyone provide advice? I recently died my naturally dark brown hair using Loreal Superior Preference (8A) Ash Blonde. The result was a pleasing brown w/ reddish highlights. But then... I rocked the boat! Not long after, I applied blonde, semipermanent frosted highlights (wanting a dramatic look). What I got were horrible orange highlights. Can we say racoon? Anyway, I'm not sure what to do. I'd rather fix the color at home than a salon where I'm certain to be ridiculed. Help!!!

I always color my hair at home but one thing I would never do is put highlights in myself. No matter how many times you read the directions, not applying it right would be a disaster. My advice to you would be to completely color your hair one color and save up to go to the salon to get your highlights done. This way yu don't have to risk another blooper. Write me anytime for anymore questions on coloring hair or anything else.

I recently dyed my hair Ash Blonde over platnuim blonde hair. You can still see the blonde. If you look close I look like a zebra. When can I dye my hair again to fix this problem?

>I also want to know how long do I have to wait to re-color my hair all one color? I used a permanent color. Should I use a temporary one until this awful color grows out?
