what up ya'll? havin been to this site for a few months now, i'm kinda tryin to figure out how to get in where i fit in. some of ya'll, although new, do ask some questions that could easily be answered thru doin a quick search through the forums. no disrespect. but on the real, i forget who it was, but there was some dude that was kinda dissin' this forum and sayin the topics was gettin redundant and ish like that. well, if we tryin to grow, then i'ma contribute, or at least try. if ya'll feel this has been done before then i won't continue with this.
anyway, like many of ya'll i'm tryin' to find the pomade that works best for me. ya'll seen the pics. 4 weeks in the game now. anyway, i started out with murrays. i don't think murrays is the be all end all. there's gotta be somethin just as good, or better, and hopefully not as effin' greasy. i'm in the process of takin pics usin different pomades. sunday, i used the recently acquired crew pomade. today, i used murrays. tomorrow, i'm usin some other white people type ish called tigi texturizing pomade that i also got recently. i should have some nu nile on thursday. it's comin straight from the rotten apple. hopefully, i'll have pics with that by the weekend. i'm postin my pics on the same site that i have all my others. i'll label the pic with which pomade it is. hopefully, it'll help some of ya'll decide for yourselves which is better. try and keep the "light skinned nigga" comments to a minimum LOL.
btw, i'm due for a haircut this weekend. these pics are taken the last two days. last got my cut a week ago. here's the link:
ok, so startin with pic 213 is where the comparison pics are. i'm a newbie to this whole self-picture takin with digital cameras. for those with experience, get at me with some tips/advice on how i can improve the pics. any other pic requests, let me know and i'll try to accomodate. finally, to be fair to the crew photos, the murrays i took when i got home from work. so, my waves had been thru a 12 hour day. don't know if that makes a difference to ya'll, but thought i'd let you know

today i used tigi texturizing pomade. it's kinda expensive 10 bucks, but this ish goes on so light! seriously, once you done puttin it in, your hands feel almost clean. if you simply rinse them with water, they feel like you didn't even use pomade. i'll let ya'll decide about what the look is compared to the others. to me, i might make this an alternate. somethin to have on days when you just don't want somethin greasy. your hair almost feels moist after puttin it in. due to the price though, i'm hopin i can find somethin' just as light, but a little less expensive. pics should be up in an hour.
i copped that tigi at a beauty salon spot that's exclusive to people that work in the salon industry. however, you can cop it probably at the same places that sell crew pomade. if you can find a trade secret i would check there. again, as long as you're in, or close to, a city of SOME size, the salon they got in the mall should have it. the tigi line is extremely popular. any salon that you go into, if they don't have it, they'll be able to tell you who does. and you know salon's be havin' some bad women up in there, so make sure you peep for me too.
