I have real thick course wavy hair, it used to be curly, but has become just frizzy and dry from all the perms and chemical straightners from all the years. I just recently borrowed a friend`s Chi Ceramic hairstyling iron and silk therapy by BioSilk and used it on my hair. It made my hair sooo soft and straight (I love it). But I was wondering if using this about every two to three days would burn my hair. Anyone out there use this iron before. I would like to buy the iron if it is ok and won`t burn my hair. It does a real good job, my hair is now not puffy and frizzy, I can actually swing my hair around and not have to use my hands to pat down the pouffiness. Any comments would be appreciated, especially since this iron is a professional one and costs a lot of money. :)

The CHI is wonderful. I used my roomates everyday for about six months. It is the answer to all bad hair!!!! Yes you can use it every day. The ceramic plate does not damage your hair!
