Chi has been the best tool I have used to temporarily straighten my hair and my clients hair. For people that want more permanent results, TR is recommended. It is a straightening procedure that uses a iron along with Thio based chemicals. It is a permanent procedure that can take anywhere from 5-7 hours depending on thickness of hair. Prices can range from 400-800 dollars depending on location. Also, try using a styling product like Alterna Straightening Starch with your iron. It will help distribute the heat through your hair and make it smoother. Hope this helps, Wendy
