I've recently started wearing my natural hair pulled back with only a homemade mixture of Lets-Jam gel and Pantene conditioner in it. So far I LOVE the results!!!!! No greasiness, no dryness, no flakes - just shine, waves and control!!!! It stays for days and doesn't feel "hard" like gels sometimes can.
Has anyone else tried this techniques? And, if so, am I doing any damage by leaving in a conditioner that wasn't ment to be "leave-in"?

I sometimes do the same thing and so far I haven't noticed anything negative from it. I use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and gel and love it. Wax makes my scalp itchy, so I stepped away from that.

There is not only black and white, there is also grey
no it won't harm your hair to leave it in i've done that for as long as I can remember(the pantene) I gon't use gels so I can't say for sure about the gel. I also put Pantene in a spray bottle with water and spray it and leave it.

Hmmm I'm pretty sure I have a jar of Lets Jam somewhere in the cupboard. I'll have to try that. I stopped using Let's Jam as it left my hair feeling so hard and dried out by itself. My hair does well with pantene products so I will give that a go on a special occasion.
