I was taking GNC Nourishair and it worked really good. I didn't notice any faster growth, but my hair did grow stronger and the new growth was more smoother.
I've tried the Biotin and the MSM alone but I had bad acne!!! So what I do is crack open some Biotin capsules and add it to my conditioner. My hair is very strong.

Kim J, I also take evening primorose and it has really helped in nourishing my scalp and keeping my hair soft. I started at the beginning of December and there is definitely a difference and that is the only thing I have added since.

Do you find that the evening primrose oil helps to nourish your scalp? If so, do you feel that it actually helps to keep it moisturized? I've seen posts where people think that some supplements like Visical may create xtra oil production in the scalp.
Yes i am trying exotic allure it is a great product it has all the vitamins in it. so tou do not have to buy any extra since it has vitamins and essencial oils for black hair. ive been using it for 2 weeks now its good.
I take biotin, evening primrose oil, skin hair and nails(vitamin shoppe), vitamin e, super b complex,l-lysine, msm and flax powder. So yes you are on the right track and you can always tweak your regimine later in terms of adding and subtracting supplements and increasing/decreasing dosages.
I have a question too. I've looked on the internet for hair vitamins and heard a lot about Shen min, Hair Formula 37, and Exotic Allure which is like especially for black people's hair. Have any of yall tried any of these? If so, did they actually grow your hair and were they worth the money. Cause some of those vitamins are expensive.
The answer is yes, Biotin, Zinc and iron can aid hair growth. As far as how much you should take, log on to www.growafrohairlong.com, contains vital information on what vitamin supplements encourages healthy hair growth and the general Recommended daily Allowance*
I just started taking Biotin,Zinc and Iron yesterday. I also eat healthy to and have a good healthy diet. Are those the right vitimins for my hair growth and if so i have another question. i take one of each every day, should i take more of the biotin and if so how much more and what are the dosages that we should take of the biotin.
