Most dandruff is caused by a fungal yeast it's noncontagious.Trichonodosis is the knotting[tangling]of curly Black People's hair caused by excessive scratching or rubbing of the scalp.

Since you said you have dandruff from a perm, did you base your scalp well before putting the perm on your roots? Sound like you might have a slight burn from the perm. I would suggest making sure to put oils on your scalp, NOT GREASE, for a week and it should heal. If not let me know.
