Hi, Brigitte. I just joined this site, and I have pressed hair. What products would you suggest for shampooing, conditioning, and moisturizing in between pressings?

Hello KarmelKitten, I think it is possible to grow waist-length hair by pressing. Relaxed haired women grow their hair long, yet they add chemicals, plus they still add heat such as curling tongs, blowdrying etc. However, I would be vigilant as to how often you add heat to the hair, make sure your hair is in good condition first. Use a an heat protectant and reputable pressing oil. I personally would'nt add heat to my hair more than twice a month. Since I stopped using a blowdryer I have less breakage, plus my hair is healthier, and does'nt seem to thin out as it grows.
I just recently started back pressing my hair after years of being natural. I was wonding for anyone hear that presses there hair, do you think its possible to achieve waist length hair by pressing, I know you can achieve it by being natural, but is it possible if you press your hair.
