I'm growing my relaxer out, and i've heard about roller setting hair, instead of blow drying. How does roller setting work? and can it be performed on natural hair?

Yes natural hair can be roller set. You may want to try using rods so that you can make sure that it's really snug at the roots where your new growth is.
