I just swung the Long Hair Care Forum and the ladies there like Surge products. Has anyone here used any Surge products? If so, what is your hair type and what was your results? I'm curious to know.

I use it. My hair type is somewhere between kinky and curly. It's a mix of tight curls and kinky ringlets. By Andre's typing system I would be 3c and 4a.

It has increased my growth a lot, suprisingly. I don't use too much of it in my hair because of the high protein content, but the small amount that I spray I feel has improved my hair.

What is in Surge to make the hair grow so quickly? Did you have any dryness? This was the major gripe of others that have used it.

The ingredients that contribut to growth are muccoploysaccharides and biotin.

I don't experience dryness, because like I said, I don't use much of it in my hair. I would never use it as a leave in conditioner. It just has too much keratin protein to use it for that, unless your hair is damaged.
