I used some BSS BS called Dana Cali. It's a bit course compared to my natural.
It's #2 and I had some #1/30 in the back. The #30 was a bit apricotty...so i used A demi by Wella called chocolte truffle. It stained it lovely, and the demi turned the hair a bit softer.
I also left my conditioner on the hair to keep it soft! I think that's good advice for all.
I definately looks better wavy than straight...the "string" issue.
I'm lovin this hair...I had a guy think I was 19 yesterday! How sweet!
Hey there Gina, your hair looks beautiful, you look beautiful, you remind me of someone but I can't quite pinpoint it, how old are you, I wouldn't say you looked much over 19 to be honest xxx You definitely look younger with more hair xxx

You look awesome!
Did you have to curl/wave or cut your own hair for that style to work
or did you just do such an awesome job with the extensions that it took
care of itself?
You really look great and I'm not surprised the guy thought you were 19.

Gina that's great! And so natural! Plus, no one would even think you had extensions, since your hair is still only medium-length. I really love what the added volume does for your hair--it looks so much more lush and vibrant.
That's what the lady from Good Day Live (what's her name...Jillian Barberie?) uses extensions for. She has long hair, but she has a single sewn track to add volume.
Thanks all for boosting my ego...I'm definately going out tonight!
Mocha: I have slight wave, but I spiraled the top and sides(where it mostly my hair)spot curled the rest as needed. Then, shine spray, hairspray...and scrunch, scrunch, scrunch! I razored blended, I'm pretty crafty with a feather razor!
Amm: The hilights in the front are mine! I'm plotting what to add next!
Rae: Yeah...I'm all about the tousled/disheveld look!
Hal: I'm gonna post more pics...both the back and straightened
Syren: My neighbor/ex-coworker stylist from my last shop. Helped me in the back.I still have some tweeking to do!
My age...25 (and that expires soon!)
I'll keep you all posted on the wear and life of the tubes!
You are beautiful and look beautiful in that hair!
I commend you, because getting extensions to blend seamlessly with that very blunt line of the bottom of your natural hair is no easy task. Very nice work!

Wow your pictures are a true inspiration of what a DIY'er can do!
What method did you use?
I'd love to start a new gallery on my website of pictures of what DIY'ers have been able to do. Your pictures are great and I'd love to add them to my future page if you'd allow me to
