If hair grows faster in the summer, then what about people that live in Florida or other warm climate places? Wouldn't their hair grow fast all the time. Just curious

hmm... i don't know the answer to that but if it's true, all the more reason to move somewhere warm.

Years ago I moved from the northern states to Florida.  It has not affected my hair's growth rate, but living in this more humid climate has made my hair less dry, less static-y, and less tangly.  (And the warmth in the winter months is a plus ).

I grew up in New Orleans (live in a cooler place now) and my hair has always grown the typical half inch a month.  I've heard that hair grows faster when you exercise...any chance people do more exercise in the summer months?
