Hey guys...
Yet another question...
Do you think that every extensionist does and is good at the following?:
(Taken from Mark Glenn FAQ's):
" Q: Will you be able to match the colour of my own hair?
A: Yes, perfectly. Unlike some, we won't just pull a colour "off the shelf". Choosing from a multitude of colours, we expertly "blend" several together while you wait - just like mixing paints - to get an exact colour match that'll incorporate all the different subtle shifts in shade that may exist in your own hair. Technical expertise counts for nothing if the colour isn't right - one of the first things you notice about "poor" extensions is the colour. That's why we invest a lot of time in ensuring we get this aspect of your extensions absolutely spot-on. "
My hair is a DARK chestnut brown, but has bits of black as well from past dye buildup. I am so concerned about my extentionist knowing how to match (although I have absolutely NO reason to believe she can't...). I'm just super paranoid, I guess! For the most part, extentionists do blend different packages, correct? Are there really some that just open a bag of one colour and apply it to your head? I'm scared...
Well, they certainly should blend a few colors for you, but if you're
concerned, I would contact your extensionist and specifiy what you want
in advance. :)
I guess I just don't want to seem like a "difficult customer" at my consultation... and annoy my extensionist. I mean, I understand what it's like to have a picky and overly worried client/customer ... and sometimes you just want to yell, "Jesus! Just trust me and let me do my job! You're making me nervous!" (even though I never would... I'm just saying sometimes it can feel that way!).
