Well I've been personally disappointed w/ the one i got a while back by Vidal Sasson, it just makes extra noise but doesn't dry so i gave it to my brother. It's 1800 or so watts but it ain't powerful at all. What i'm looking for is something w/ a powerful blast that dries hair fast. Thanks for all the help so far!

You could try:  Vidal Sassoon Professional 1875 Watt Dryer with Metal Finish for $19.95; BaByliss Professional Hair Dryer 1875 Watt for $49.95; or the ConairPro Plimatic Turbo Hair Dryer for $24.95.

**Hair type: 2a, which is wavy and fine.
**Color: Naturally dark brown, currently dyed reddish brown.
**Length: below shoulder length

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a really powerful hair dryer that isn't over 100 dollars. I'm not looking for it to make my hair straight or anything, I have my beloved HAI 2 for that; I just need one that can cut the drying time considerably. If there is no such hair dryer that is powerful enough under 50 dollars, then still tell me abt it. The reviews on Folica didn't really help. I just get annoyed w/ the dryers that don't seem to dry my hair at ALL, and so I have to let it air dry for hours before i can flat iron! Please help!
