QuoteReplyTopic: Odd haircolor question Posted: May 11 2005 at 11:51am
Ok so now Ive finally shaved the last of the blonde off, Im seeing my REAL color (gasp) for the first time in...shoot... years. Now Ive always known I was a "medium brown" but now with my plastikhaar color ring I went in and really got the colors down...
Im 55% muskat - 30% hell braun, and 15% fichte. (OK add a little gray in there too but shhhh, we'll ignore that for now) and I mean literally because I have diffrent hair color strands.
what the hell color is that??!!! I dont even know what LEVEL it is. I know the red in there makes it a pain in the tush to lighten it too much, but knowing more about my real color can help me chose more complimentary colors later on.
Ive been told I was anywhere from a level 2 - 5, help please
(edit) oh, and lets say I lost my mind and wanted to get some human hair from hisandher.com - what color would be closest to my own? Im lost as far as human hair colors go

okay I'm not a pro. But in m y many years of dying i have gained
quite a bit of knowledge on hair color. Very little of it about
what color is what. none the less. You are definitely not a
2. I use mahaghoni and kokos and wawa #4 and I'm a 2 or a
3. I used to double process my hair so that it was about like
rotbusch or maybe as dark as kastanie. anyhow I think that when
my hair finally was done it matched dead on with wella 633.
anyhow 6 something so that might help you with understnading the
level(THough I do remember a bottle of 8 something too).
You sound like you have a gold or red gold base to me. But I gave
up on human colored hair, other than coloring my gray, a while ago so
I'm rusty.
And you are right. getting natural red out is a bitch.
