QuoteReplyTopic: Help! my hair is out of control! Posted: May 11 2005 at 3:50pm
Okay so my hair is naturally wavy/curly but of course its frizzy no matter what I do! If I blow dry it, it goes absolutely crazy. Its past my shoulders and its super thick, so it takes me about an hour to straighten all of it. Then it frizzes again about half way through the day. I use a professional shampoo called Livit. Basically I somehow want my hair straight and thin. I'm afraid to get my hair thinned because it might look strange because I've never seen anyone get theirs thinned before........ so I have no clue what it will look like. Please! I need help soon because I'm getting it cut this weekend.
if you've got naturally 'crazy' hair..the hairstyle u want is gonna be a mission trust me..the common rule is dont go against the rules of nature with your hair..it is how it is!
however, as you've probably realised, achieving that hairstyle would require going to the hairdresser with that pic, getting it cut, and coloured..and letting them style it
on a day to day basis, we're talking serious straightening everyday with a light wax applied afterwards to maintain the style, define it and shine enhance it, with maybe a glosser for an after effect.
its up to you, but its a cool style!

That image isn't a good close up since your hair looks tied back. Your hair looks fine in that image and I mean fine like fine hair. Having your hair thinned is most likely not going to help frizzies it actually could make it worse. The hairstyle you are considering in that picture is alot shorter than your hair currently. Also your fine hair will probably not hold that cut in that image as well as you might think. That models hair looks thick and dense.
You have a nice face for shorter hair but I'd definately put in some angled bangs as I think they would compliment that shorter look that it appears you are searching for. Good luck find a good stylist and remember if you want to go shorter it's a big step make sure you are 100% sure before you do it cuz it take s long time to grow back. Hair grows 1/2" per month on average. So 6" cut off = 1 year or more to get it back.
