how do u know if the bleach/stripper is 30 vol. or 40?

it should say on the developer bottle what volume it is.unless your developer is from a regular store  like walgreens or cvs.But I'm pretty sure those are low volume like 10 and twenty.Since it takes a high volume to lift hair.

There is no bleach that is measured by the volume.   Only peroxide is measured by the volume, 10-40, and it should say what volume it is on the peroxide bottle
