hi,
I'm interested in beauty and the history of hair styling in general.I've been considering going to beauty school but I'm not sure yet. I thought this forum was a great opportunity to read and learn more,it might help me decide. Looks like a great place.
My name is ali. I've lurked this lath for absolutely some time mainly
in the hair extensions board. I've been cutting extensions for 3 years
and I'm consistently searching for bigger means to administer and
advance my hair.

I have been reading on here for a few months, so time to post [IMG]smileys/smiley1.gif" align="middle" />
After 4 years filled with brass, at the beginning of this year I decided to take hair into my own hands...
I'm a natural level 7 with strong gold tones and natural golden highlights (which I hate), the problem starts with my complexion being very cool and medium to fair, my eyes are green-grey, so my natural hair color is a complete mismatch.
Every single time in my life I visited a salon was a disaster, cut, color, harsh blow-dry, what-not...
My former hd used to leave me with more brass than the orchestra, in spite of my requests for a cool tone. Only much later I understood the errors.
My hair is very fine - so correction possibilities were limited.
For the past 10 months I did all the reading and experimenting I had time (and hair) for.
I now know I have to lift about 2 levels above my target in order to change tone completely, which I do on regrowth every 2 months (with a neutralizing high-lift tint and 9% peroxide), the length of my hair is the wrong tone (braaaasssss) levels 8-9, so light enough to deposit cool tone to the level 7-8 which I want.
I read here loads of good on shades eq and just ordered one.
I'm sooo waiting for it to arrive... my hair is both porous and fine, so hopefully the 07t will grab on dark and well

I really enjoy reading here what people have to say about their experiences - very happy I found this place !
Before using internet i was completely unaware of Forums. One day my friend told me that forums are the best place where we can exchange information. So keeping this in mind i joined this forum as i am hair designer.
I am ready to share my experience to benefit others and I will also want to learn more about hairstyles. So please share your experience regarding hairstyles and i will also share mine.
My name is Saima and live in USA I hope you people will help me in this regard.

Hi my name is Christina and I really need some advise on dying my hair back blonde,it's a auburn brown at the moment and I was wondering if I can put a boxed hair dye in the lightest blonde possible on my hair and would it go blonde or some awful colour.
Hey board, i'm new here and joined to learn more about hair extensions. There seem to be a lot of articles posted on this board so i'm sure it'll help.
The hair I looked at seems nice and I do want to make some good money in the hair industry.

Hair extensions are becoming an increasingly popular trend amongst
brides. While you may have found the perfect updo for your wedding day, your hair might be too fine or not long enough to pull it off.Hair
extensions can help add volume, length, texture and/or chemical free
colour to any style
