THE PERSON WHO CREATED THIS POLL DID A BAD JOB AT PICKING NAMES, OTHER SHOULDN'T HAVE THE MOST VOTES.

Take fabolous, mase and game off and put pac, biggie and jay-z on, them three are better than the five names listed in my opinion.

ha funny how everyone talking about pop rappers like 50 cent and eminem and gunit and game hahaha only artist i see on this whole page that is actually good is juelz santana - killa cam = blows, nd how can u say diplomats run harlem? can u say Jae Millz? jae millz can tear apart all those writing emcees - only reason why diplomats are popular in harlem is because their all bloods and alot of bloods live in harlem - but the best rapper is prob. Big L. If he even got to come out on main stream, pac woulda still been freestyling at strip clubs and biggie woulda been a spokesman for the black jenny kraig. aparently, not many people here know any "real" rappers especially the guy who made this post since mase is not even considered a rapper

*P.S - dont get me wrong, The Diplomats are a great group but saying they run harlem? thats a no no

NAS.....

Nas has gained respect of all hip-hop heads Nas refuses to follow that well trodden road too many popular rappers  end up taking (no names mentioned here!).  Instead, nas takes us on a very different journey, one that's lyrically insightful, honest and reflective. You get the feeling that this man is diffrent. He actually Makes sense.

Nas dont ever go commercial. a.k.a Sellout
