Please remember that the HairTalk Messageboards are 100% privately owned and completely funded by HairBoutique.com. Therefore, it is at HairBoutique.com's discretion how these HairTalk boards are used and who may participate.
To keep this Hair Talk forum enjoyable, safe, clean, usable, and helpful to everyone, a set of usage rules have been issued as guidelines for participating in the HairTalk formums. HairBoutique.com asks all HairTalk forum members to comply with the rules as listed below:
Golden Rules Of HairTalk Participation:
Please post in the appropriate forum! Please make every effort to post in the appropriate topic forum whenever possible (Example: Celebrity Hair would be about celebrities but long hair should be posted in the Long Hair Forum). You may have your post moved or deleted if it is posted in an inappropriate forum! When in doubt what forum to post your topic in, post in General Hair Talk.
Use Descriptive Topic Subjects! Please try to be specific when posting. This will help others find related topics that they wish to read. Topics with inappropriate topic subjects may be moved or deleted!
Please Research Your Post! Make sure you are not double posting. Please also search the desired forum first to determine if your post has already been covered. Most questions have been answered dozens of time before.
Trolling Will Not Be Tolerated! Please don't add posts that are inflammatory just to annoy people or add posts that you know will cause arguments.
Personal Attacks! Please do not criticize people. While it is appropriate to share your difference of opinion, please do so with kindness and courtesy. Please remember that the written word may appear harsher than those that are spoken. So please post in a manner "as if" you would wish to be talked to in person.
Flaming. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any posted material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, those that invade the privacy or others, any posts that are blatantly sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
Slander. The HairTalk Board Administrators reserve the right to immediately remove any posts that are designed to slander any or all visitors. HairBoutique.com reserves the right to delete any posts that might be deemed legally liable on the part of HairBoutique.com.
No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material will be tolerated under any circomestances. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and blatantly demeaning comments.
Please do not post links to warez, warez sites or sites with pornographic or objectionable content. Only link to sites that are appropriate for family viewing only. HairTalk takes pride in their G Rating which makes it possible for all age groups to visit and post messages.

If you wish to contact HairTalk visitors privately via phone or personally, please make all arrangements off-topic via Board Mail (BMail) or personal email.
Each forum member may have only one account. Any member attempting to post from more than one account will have duplicate accounts deleted.
Please do not use objectionable language. All inappropriate or objectionable language will be immediately edited.
Please do not dig up ancient threads. If you wish to continue an old discussion (older than 1 month), please create a new thread and reference the old one in your post.
