Ohhhh great find Amm....that hotpot is IDENTICAL to the one that I have and paid alot more!!

Oh by the way amm...I saw the fabri-tac on the link site....I remember you tried that, but I dont remember the results

I have this thing at home, and I have to say, it doesn't get hot enough. The Glue gets sticky and you cannot make really nice bondings. I ordered one in China, just for sample, and I love this thing. It heats up to 170�C, and you can do the best bondings ever. I payed 30$ and I love this thing. I can make round and flat bondings....

Try this spot for pots www.hotstik.com .  I have the GP6 which is 120watts and it gets plenty hot.. bubbles sometime. lol. It's $13.95 and I've had for a few years now, no problems. The smaller one (GP4)  is 40 watts for $4.99 but I don't think it will melt too much. It's for the low temp glues I guess. They also sell glue sticks, which appear to be like keratin. I've ordered and used those before too, but I'll defer to some of the chemists here to clarify what kind of glue it actually is.

I have one like that, that I bought in a craft store too! I like it
better than the gun. The downside to that is the non-temp
control, so in other words, your glue stick can burn

Overall, I use that to do my pretips. I cut the tip of the hair, use a
flat stick and butter up the tip while removing excess glue.

Then I lay flattened glue to dry, cut to size, and use my GL
wand to reheat and spin. Works great
