QuoteReplyTopic: in westLA want to use hairloc hair??? Posted: June 28 2005 at 7:58pm
Went to Kim Marie..I am a model and actress..she screwed me over..I posted a while ago.....etc etc etc...lol
Anyhow,I have hair...the hair is new, it is all individuals, I have nothing in my hair now,permanently...
I just want something safe like shrinkies or heatseals or whatever I keep reading a bout on here for fine dmaged hair recovering and trying to grown and be healthy... but DO NOT want to be ripped off after the KIM MARIE experience. LOL
(BTW: I have also done wefts, but never glue or fusion or anything like that...)
So:for the last couple of months I have just been doing clip ins but they are getting annoying in my fine hair and fall out,etc..
I am trying to grow out my hair and Hairlocs damaged the hell out of it. I sooooo miss extensions though, but, recently was going to an African American Salon where they did the weave too tight and the braid way too big: I guess I was just sooooo sick of paying an arm and leg for stupid extensions.
Is there anyone out there who will use the good, fine european hair that I still have but was hardly in my head for more than a week b/c much of it fell out( but it is still in the little metal hairlocs, mind you) and apply it in a non-damaging way(method) to my head for just the application fee?(like$200-$400 )
My hair currently is about to my shoulders or a bit above in various layers and the locs are in layers too..I just want more thickness and a bit of lenght, that way, if I use clip-ins,they have something to clip on to.
SO:ARE YOU OUT THERE NEAR THE WEST SIDE OF LA??? I WILL COME TO U..OR U CAN COME TO ME!!!
Please let me know!
I will be a loyal client. I am honest, working, own a great condo, etc and in the future will buy my hair from you, just don't appreciate being ripped off royally, for thousands and thousands like she did to me. Life is too short to be so unethical. I believe in long-term relationships. Not acting like someone's friend and then using them. In the end,she lost out!
They are featured in the Best of Los Angeles with this write up:
Last month, I made a difficult decision. I resolved to "cheat" on my
hairdresser and try out Sugar (3930 Sunset Blvd. Sunset Junction,
behind Vice 323-666-7000). Anyone with a regular hairstylist knows
this is a risky proposition. If things go well, you're fine...unless you
see your jilted hairdresser on the street. If things go poorly, you're
forced to skulk back to your old salon and explain what the hell you
were thinking. Luckily, Sugar owner Tommy Carmanico kicks hair.
The guy's got vision, he's not afraid to do crazy stuff (but he's okay
with non-crazy stuff, too), he charges a mere $40 for a haircut, and
(hold on to your roots, girls), he charged me $50 for highlights,
lowlights and a rinse. That's a $500 service at some salons in our fair
city. I'd never pay that, but if you do because you think that's what a
pro costs, think again. Tommy used to cut for fancy Fred Segal until
he decided to open what the Sugar site calls the "anti-salon."
Apparently, "Tommy found his happiness with a salon that
exemplifies cool, unpretentious stylists and of course, great hair."
Plus, he's happy to order you a baguette, cheese and vino from Cafe
Stella next door. What's not to love?
