What are the tips for straighteneing your hair, is it as simple as getting the hair between the irons and pulling it through, is there more to it? can straightening around the edges, help to flick it up and hold it there?

well straightening your hair is pretty much getting your hair thru the irons and pulling thru slowly but i have some tips

1. straighten your underneath hair first and work your way to the outer layer of your hair

2. ALWAYS use some sort of protection on your hair..i use sleek.look smoothing system by matrix..it comes in an orange bottle and they have a whole line of straightening products such as friz control..etc..all you do is spray some on your hair and straighten it thru as usual...

3. dont turn your heat on the straightener all the way up for less damage

and yess straightening around the edges can flick it up ...all you do is grab a section of hair to straighten and start at your roots and pull it thru and flick ur straightener up at the bottom to make it flip upwards
