That is kind of a bad picture of her, but in her television show "Kept" her hair looks great on her. I could not imagine short hair on her. And it makes her look yuonger I think.

I've never thought of Jerry Hall as attractive & I doubt that cutting her hair short would change my mind

Looks like an older woman trying to look young now. At least in the original post.

Yep. She should cut her hair so she looks like an older woman trying to look old.

Fatmoogas's pic I would say it was just a bad shot of her. The link Texdillo put up was a lot better. So I guess you should ask this question on a good day or bad day. Also I have seen her with short hair shoulder lenght she was playing Mrs Robison in a play a few years ago.

She looks her age, and she has great hair. Society deems this unacceptable. This is a topic that comes up often on the Hair Politics board (and sometimes on the Long Hair board, too).

Some women remain more comfortable with long hair all their lives: Brigitte Bardot, Jane Seymour and Jerry Hall for example. For me, she looks good in the original picture that I posted.

Too funny, love this comment!! Sad but true. IMO, age has nothing to do with it. If you have beautiful hair and are capable of growing it to this length, then go for it. I think Jerry has fabulous hair and I cannot picture her without her trademark locks.

Jeri Hall actually isn't elderly, more like 50ish middle aged.

She does look older than that in the top photo.
It has nothing to do with her hair length. A woman who is beautiful looks good in short or long hair, and both older and younger women can look good in short or long hair.
It is her face that looks old in that photo.

Which seems strange considering that wealthy celebrity women can usually afford the best plastic surgeons, makeup, facials, etc...
Look at Cher, she is older than Jeri Hall and she and he face look beautiful!

I would have guessed she was in her 60s... even with the lighting, makeup etc. on the show - which makes the theme of the show even creepier...  I don't think I'd like her hair on anyone.  It's too one length, one color, perfectly set waves on one side...  One dimensional, my least favorite type of hair.

I think her face looks old because of too much sun and too many cigarettes. I'm about her age, and my skin looks much, much younger than hers.
