Hello ladies!

My band has its big gig at our company party this Friday, and I just figured out my outfit yesterday.  I decided to go with an '80 punk sort of look and found a neon pink and black striped skirt in clearance at Hot Topic.

Of course, not being a girl that's really into pink, I don't have any pink hair!  My current idea is to take some of the 18" blonde HH weft I still have, dye it neon pink, cut into 1 1/2 inch wide chunks, and attach to clips.  Then I'll just have a bunch of neon pink clip ins.  (BTW, my real hair is approximately #2 right now).  Then maybe I could dig out the crimping iron if I wanted to get ambitious.  =)

Thoughts?  Other hair suggestions?  Even other outfit suggestions (like the accessories or whatnot I need to have) are welcomed!

why not just use liquid gold or latex glue for quickness x

Only because I still have to work that morning...the party is in the afternoon.  I just thought with clips, I could pop them in when I change clothes.

oh right, well what about using liquid gold to glue on the clips to the weft for quickness?

i think the clip in idea is cool.Plus having pink against your dark hair will look really great.you could  curl the pink peices with your hair and muss it up.

Muss is good.  Must...have...big...hair!  =)  Three clip ins done, three to go.  They're Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink (I can't believe Hot Topic wanted $13 for Manic Panic...it was $8 at Sallys).

I also learned that when dyeing and washing hair, you need to be careful.  I washed it four times in a row to stop the color from bleeding everywhere, but I then had a tangled mess (plus it's cheap hair, so it lost its coating).  It took me over an hour and a half to comb it out--and that's only a little over a foot-long weft of 18" hair!
