They can call it seamless or they can call it a progression, they can even mark it with an X, But they can't call thiers original.

Visions hair extensions changed the industry with thier patent.

It is not a glue but they use two different types of double sided tape. a strong blue and a red liner.

That's just the "hair system" that they use polymer glue with the tape, it's almost a wig, they measure the top of your head, send out for the expensive hair that is about $1,000 a pop and glue it to your head after they shave the top. (a hairclubformen version)

I was wearing this "system" until I found this board. Since the top of my hair is growing out and I basically don't have any, I ordered a top piece from HisandHers that only cost $99! And I don't have to pay $80 a month to have it glued on by someone else. Talk about savings!

No you are not thinking of the same product.  They are not wigs they are hair extensions.  The top piece that this company has does not require glue on your head.  The extensions don't require glue either.  Check out thier website

But is it true that they shave your hair where it adheres? 'Cause that's kinda conter-productive to growing your hair out- but I'm stating the obvious.

No you're wrong they don't shave your hair cuz they pull your through to attach.  It would be counter-productive to shave it.  The idea with this system is to not damage the hair.  Please check out their website

I beg to differ. I DID look at the website and it's the same type of system. I was wearing one on top of my head for ten years. What you were describing is an "integration system that they pull your hair out in the back of your head, and shave a circle around the top of your head, use the red tape around it to adhere to, and then add the polymer glue and then fix the "system" on your head.

If I am wrong, I apologize, but I'm thinking,.....no.

Edited: Well how about that, I was WRONG. I just looked at the website again and missed that page that explains how it is done. Very interesting method. So do tell more! (and I apologize sincerely)

We talked about this a few weeks ago.  Raphael's Visions, is a seamless weft.  It's just about the same thing as the Ultratress 1 where you pull hair through little slits in the polyurathane weft with a crochet hook and use a double sided tape to adhere it.

I have not tried the Visions product, but I have  a sample that someone gave me in my salon, and it's the same as the Ultratress 1, which I did try a few years ago.  I liked the Ultratress 1, it was ok, it was just very time consuming to apply.

Ultratress 1 is similar to what visions is now, but the company has made great improvements. Ultra had big slits so you had to do the extra work to keep them in. Visions has tiny slits to stop them from slipping, there is alot of hair on each row. One package is 4 ounces.
Metaslgirl you should look into what the company is offering now.

Of all the poly based extensions I like this one the best.

The way I understand it the company was basically Raphael and his wife.  They had some issues with a partner, but they have fixed all that and are now moving foward real strong.  They just sent me all the information about thier Orlando show with a DVD of thier system.  Boogie I suggest you call them again.

If you don't mind saying, what is your affiliation with this company?

Same question goes to you as well.

I don't have affilation, I am just routing for the little guy in this case. I like the fact that it was created by hairdresser just like you and me. It takes alot to go up against big companies like tressallure and On rite. So I will keep cheering them on
