whats good people. i use a Oster classic 76 clipper to cut my hair and cut with a size 1 blade and it is really low but when i tried a size 2 it didnt even cut my hair, and no guys there is no 1.5. but do u guys think that a size 1 is good because when i used it i never knew about cutting 2 da grain i always cut against the grain but im not going 2 be doing it anymore. do u guys think that when i use the size 1 again to cut my hair it will keep my waves in and more defined.
It aint me, its my jewlery thats pissed off

you gotta let your hair grow out longer to get a #2 cut. if i was you
i'll stay away from #1 if you wanna keep your waves. also don't cut
your hair so often.
this is the clipper and trimmer i use. they both are ANDIS brand

too. But i also wish they had a #1.5. But let me also say this I thing for a #1 to look good u gotta have ya waves on point

my bad, i just don't like it that low. i'm sticking with a #2 or
#3.....just to let yall know the clipper attachments/numbers are not
all the same lengths, it varies from brand to brand. below is what i
posted in a old topic.

I think it varies from brand to brand. I use ANDIS clippers and ANDIS trimmers and the attachments sizes are:
#1=1/16
#2=1/8
#3=1/4
#4=1/2
#5=1 inch
some clippers don't come with a 1/16 so a #1 would be a 1/8

cuttin ur own hair has 2 save some serious bread- ima try and pick me up some in the future ...so 3-6 if u have a recommened set of clippers then lemme noe
thanks every1 for helping a bro out. yea 360spinna is rite. its easy to cut your hair yourself but the shape up is hard as $hit. i still need to get my shape ups better though. im going 2 stick to a size 1 on my clippers and make sure i cut to da grain . i hate using plastic guards because they dont come out that even, but if your good at cutting u can do it with a plastic guard. i use a professional clipper which was like $120. im getting my andis trimmer though in a couple of days so my shape will start to be on point.
i purchase this one
on this website-->here and cost about $90. they're the best clippers i ever used.
ANDIS EXCEL 2-SPEED CLIPPER
* Powerful 2-Speed rotary motor clipper with detachable blade designed for heavy-duty use
* High speed is 25% faster for cutting heavy hair
* Designed to last for years and will cut wet or dry hair
* Andis Excel 2-Speed Clipper compatible with Oster Model 76, 10 and 111 Blades
* Maintenance free - no oiling or greasing of internal parts
* Break-resistant housing; contoured to fit you hand.
* Runs so cool, fans and air vents that can become clogged with hair are not needed
* 7 attachment combs included (1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1")
* One year limited warranty
even though its kind of high in price its a great investment. try to
stay away from those $20-$30 clipper sets you might see in stores:
1. there motors are usually weak
2. because of ^ you have to keep going over spot over and over to get it even
3. the have cheap plastic guards that makes it more difficult to get everything even
4. they don't last long
also ANDIS TRIMMER'S ARE HANDS DOWN THE BEST TRIMMER and they look cool too
Does anyone know how to fade the back of the head real good? I'm thinkin about startin to cut my own hair and i wanna keep it even all around, but have it temped out in the back. Somebody holla back please...

^I DO THAT WHEN MY HAIR GETS A LIL LONG, BUT IT TAKES SOME PRACTICE TO
GET IT CORRECT, ITS KIND OF HARD TO PUT IN WORDS WITH OUT SHOWING
EXAMPLES, MAYBE THE NEXT TIME YOU GO TO THE BARBER YOU CAN ASK TO WATCH
yea lol im 14 and i started to cut my own hair. i wish i could
fade the back past my durag line or maybe my bro could learn how to do
it. and yea andis is the best. i do need some new blades
for my liner though cuz we had it for like 8 months and it has a broken
edge which really hurts when you do your lining. ya know gotta
look fresh cuz my schools about to start
Got them waves so serious, it make dudes delirious
