Let me just start out by saying you guys have a wonderful message board..with tons and tons of useful information...i had my first extensions put in about 3 weeks ago by a woman in a salon( she did the corn row braid then weaved the wefts in) ..i have sense then taken them out...it ITCHED ITCHED ITCHED ( i did my best not to scratch)...i couldent take it anymore...i washed it as good as i could getting my finger tips way down in there...i tried sea breeze figuring that might help ( it did for only a minute and i think the 105 temp and sweating probably didnt help the itching as much) i was so sad to part with them i loved having long hair...but i couldent even sleep haha...it was misarable..and on top of all that when she removed the wefts and braids...my REAL hair came out with it...my hair is now significantly thinner then it once was..i know that no method is damageless ( is that even a word?..sorry if it isnt haha) but jeezz i didnt think THAT much would come out ( not that it was super thick to begin with ) i am so bummed... so now my hair looks worse then BEFORE i got the extensions..so i have no idea what to do....(thats were you fine ladies *and men* come in :P) what do you think is the best option other then weaving for me ...my hair is about 4-4 1/2 inches all around my head...i just dont want to walk around with jacked up hair...it looks like i got in a fight with a lawn mower and lost :/...the semester is starting soon and i really dont want to return to college looking like this...any advice or opinions would be very much apperciated..have a great day!
clip in wefts are a good way to go if you don't mind putting them in and out yourself on a daily basis. I do this every day, and I can get 4 rows in and looking nice in about 10 minutes.

I did the same thing as you only with bonding glue. It took the top of my hair out. I looked like Bozo the clown. I must have cried for days on end. And I didn't know what to do. I thought about using the Regrowth stuff but heard from others that it took their hair out. So now I am just shampooing and deep conditioning my hair with Doo Grow and using their Root Simulator at night. I perm it every 10 weeks and trim it every 4 weeks. I must say it has grown back some (took me 6 months), but like you its very thin. If I pull it straight back you can't tell, but if I side part it, Bingo....you can tell. So right now to keep myself calm, I am now wearing a human hair wig during the week and my own hair on the weekend, I just tie a bandana scraf across the top and the rest of my hair down. Sometimes I flip it up. I think I have every color of the rainbow Nobody knows the different but me. Good luck.
