I dunno, never used the tape. And I have never had glue last longer then 3 weeks, even with the sandwich method with liquid gold I have 2 wefts in the back with some major slippage, and its only been a little over a week.
That's called red liner tape and it's a tape that's commonly used to apply hair pieces. I don't know if you'd get 2-3 weeks out of it though.
There is another hair piece tape, called Pro-Flex 2, and you could get 4-6 weeks out of it. Charlene put a seamless weft on me with the pro-flex tape, and it's been about 5 weeks now and it's hold strong. The corners have lifted a tiny little bit, but no big deal. She used the sandwich method.
I buy Pro-Flex 2 tape from my hair piece supplier, so I'm not sure where unlicensed people can buy this. Do a google search for 'pro flex 2 tape' and you'll probably come up with something.
I just looked the the dr. lock's page, and they tell you that you can apply this tape onto a regular weft. I'm not sure how well it would hold, as this tape is meant to be applied to polyurethane. (like seamless wefts) If you stick it onto a regular weft top, it will not be water tight, therefore I don't see it holding for more than a few shampoos.
