Nice compliment

This evening I was having dinner with a large group and this woman in the group grab my hair and said"Don`t ever cut your hair because it is very beautiful".

It was a nice compliment, although the hair grab I would not have appreciated. Mine is to the bottom of my shorts and I have had far too many people grab mine without asking to touch it first. It is a part of me and I just feel that although it invites touching, it is my personal space to decide who may do the touching.
OK, I`ve said my peace on the touching. The nicest compliment I have ever received was from a really handsome guy who walked up to me and said,
" Excuse me but I just had to compliment you on having the most beautiful hair I have ever seen. I have some long haired female friends that lament that they only get negative comments or people pulling their hair. Well I won`t grab it or say anything deragatory,but I will just compliment you on your stunningly beautiful hair, because it truly deserves positive attention. If you ever feel it is unappreciated, just remember there are thousands of guys who feel the same as I do who may not have the courage to tell you how beautiful it is."
I smiled at him, thanked him for the compliment, and told him that I did indeed appreciated that he didn`t pull my hair or make comments about cutting it off. We had a nice chat and he was really a nice guy. I noticed a wedding ring otherwise I would have given him my number. I did invite him to touch it if he would like, he did briefly and told me it was indeed as silky as it looked. As he bid me goodbye, he said don`t ever let anyone talk you into cutting off your beautiful hair, it would be such a shame that the world be a far less beautiful place without it. He really made me feel special and it offset a thousand jerks being rude.

Feels cool eh!? I had the parts guy at work do the same thing (minus the grabbing).
