Was turned too Blond

I went to a stylist to have my hair dyed and she dyed it way too blond.  I usually do this myself, but I decided to treat myself and have it done.  I don't know if she didn't understand me or what.  I had light blond highlights in my ash blond hair and I wanted to color my hair to a shade between the two.

My hair is now the solor of my highlights and I look so washed out.  The roots look like she was trying to do a strawberry blond color, but I'm not sure.  I'd go back and have it fixed, but I've just lost my want of having a stylist color my hair.

My question is how long do I have to wait before I can color it again.  I'd do it today, if I knew it was ok.  She used a Wella product (living in Germany on a military base) and I usually use Loreal.

Any advice or answers????

 

 

 

I'd suggest waiting a few days and a few shampoos because sometimes color will fade after a few washings and you might like it then. If it's not what you want maybe deep condition your hair a few days then go in with a semi or demi-permanent color and apply it. You want it to be slightly darker than what you have now correct?

Hmmm well if you want to go Golden Blonde I think it might be a good idea to fill in with Yellow filler then put the color over it you want to get a more true golden blonde. If you don't fill with yellow it might not even take because of the lack of underlying pigment. You need to put that back into the hair so it doesn't look pale and washed out. I'd suggest doing this then following with a permanent color if you go semi or demi it could get brassy after several washings and look washed out again. Also to follow it up go over the color with a Clear Coat to seal the cuticle, preserve the color and add shine and enhance the work you just did with the color. The Clear Coat is very important as it seals the cuticle, preserves the color and makes it shiny and nice for the completed look.
