I dyed my hair like 3 years ago, and it was a dark red. I now want to go to my natural colour (dark golden brown or somewhere near it!), and I've been told by the hairdresser I can't as I have too much red in my hair! :(

I there any way I can do it or get it done professionally?

Maybe find someoe who specializes in color correction, if u did it three years ago then that doesn't seem too difficult a task for a good colorist.
